Question: Q: Yosemite 10.10.5 Update breaks Safari After upgrading to 10.10.5 on my Macbook Pro 5,2 17' Laptop, Safari now hangs when browsing certain websites (Amazon.com). Running Google Chrome from the same platform does not have the problem. Apple today released OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, an under-the-hood update that introduces bug fixes. There isn't a separate link for safari 8.0.8 for yosemite because it is part of the os x 10.10.5.
